Ram Charan, star of “RRR,” and director Sukumar, known for “Pushpa: The Rise,” are teaming up for a new film, announced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Composer DSP, who worked on “Pushpa,” will handle the music.
The collaboration, Charan’s 17th project, was revealed on Holi. The film, tentatively titled “RC17,” reunites Charan and Sukumar after their success with “Rangasthalam” in 2018.

Scheduled for release in late 2025, this project promises a Pan-India cinematic experience. It’s jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar.
Charan is also busy with S Shankar’s “Game Changer,” while Sukumar’s “Pushpa: The Rule” is set for release on August 15, 2024. Meanwhile, Charan’s 16th film with Janhvi Kapoor and director Buchi Babu Sana has recently begun filming.
