Poco, a smartphone brand from China, is getting ready to introduce a fresh addition to its X6 lineup known as the Poco X6 Neo. This new phone is aimed at being more wallet-friendly. Poco India made it official on their social media platform X (previously Twitter) that they’re launching the Poco X6 Neo in India on March 13th at noon IST.
There’s talk that the Poco X6 Neo might just be a renamed version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro. This new phone will join the Poco X6 and X6 Pro, which were launched earlier this year in January.
You’ll only find the Poco X6 Neo for sale on Flipkart, the online store supported by Walmart. Poco boasts a large screen that almost fills the whole front of the phone, with a thin body that’s only 7.69mm thick and no bezels on the sides.
Expected Specs for Poco X6 Neo:
The Poco X6 Neo might feature a 6.6-inch screen that displays crisp and clear images, boasting a speedy refresh rate of 120Hz. Underneath, there’s a buzz that it might run on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 CPU.
You can count on a big 5,000mAh battery that charges up fast with 33W fast charging, meaning you won’t have to plug in too often. For connections, it’s likely to have Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a headphone jack, and two speakers for good sound. And it’s rumored to offer solid protection against water and dust with an IP54 rating, along with a fingerprint sensor on the side for security.
The expected price for the Poco X6 Neo is between Rs 16,000 to 17,000. You might also get to choose between 8GB of RAM and different storage options.
Poco has mentioned that the phone could come in two colors. There’s talk of a dual back camera setup, with one of the lenses being a whopping 108MP, according to the information on Flipkart.
